MAYSER type TS/BK and part number 5090777 is equipped with tactile area sensors that provide effective protection for securing areas. These area switches are designed to protect people in automated production processes from potentially dangerous moving units by detecting people and objects in the corresponding movement areas.
When a safety mat is stepped on, the speed of machines or systems is reduced or they are switched off completely to ensure a safe condition.
Our area sensors are available in different heights and with different material properties such as slip resistance and resistance to various chemical substances. The low height of 11 mm minimizes the risk of tripping and the surface already has a slip-resistant structured surface (R 9). The safety mats are maintenance-free and available in a rectangular shape. They are also resistant to environmental influences and common chemical influences. The maximum load capacity is an impressive 800 N/cm2.
