About us – Gerhard Sondermann GmbH
For over 65 years, the Sondermann name has stood for technical expertise, reliability, and sustainable collaboration in the machinery and industrial sector.
The company was founded in 1960 by Gerhard Sondermann in Sauerland. It started with small machines for local carpentry shops. Early on, customer inquiries from the sawmill industry led to a specialization in sawmill technology and professional sharpening services, which still form a significant part of the technical orientation today. The sharpening service was spun off as a separate company in 2001.
With Markus Sondermann's takeover, the company was strategically further developed and consistently geared towards industrial applications. The focus has since been on modern, efficient, and technically sophisticated CNC technology for industry and trade.
In the course of this development, Gerhard Sondermann GmbH has evolved from a regional supplier to an internationally active trading partner. In particular, the area of used machinery and spare parts now represents a central component of the service portfolio and offers economical alternatives to new acquisitions.
The company offers a comprehensive range of services consisting of new machinery, used machinery, and machine spare parts. In addition, technical consulting and support for the selection, integration, and maintenance of components are provided.
Gerhard Sondermann GmbH stands for long-term and reliable cooperation with its customers. This is based on technical expertise, rapid availability of components, and a solution-oriented approach to technical requirements.
Company Philosophy
The activities of Gerhard Sondermann GmbH are not limited to pure trading. Rather, the company sees itself as a technical contact for industrial applications, especially in the areas of spare parts supply, maintenance, and optimization of existing systems.
The goal is to provide economical and sustainable solutions that enable customers to operate production facilities efficiently and reliably.
