Adapter Units for CNC Machines New and Used

Adapter units expand the machining possibilities of CNC machines and form the functional connection between the motor spindle and the tool. They enable milling, drilling, sawing, and special machining operations in horizontal, vertical, or inclined orientations, significantly increasing the flexibility of modern CNC machining centers.


A CNC adapter unit consists of a motor spindle mount, a tool clamping system, and a torque support. In conjunction with a C-axis, inserted tools can be rotated 360 degrees around the machine's Z-axis. This allows for precise machining without time-consuming retooling.


The torque support prevents the unit from twisting, reduces vibrations, and reliably absorbs the forces generated during machining. Depending on the machine, support is provided by stop blocks, torque support rings, or the C-axis itself. Additionally, media such as compressed air or control signals can be routed through the support.


We supply adapter units new and used, technically inspected and ready for use, suitable for CNC machines from HOMAG, IMA, BIESSE, SCM, WEINIG, HOLZHER, FELDER, MAKA, REICHENBACHER and other manufacturers. Used units may show signs of wear or storage, but are functionally tested.


New adapter units comply with the applicable national and European directives for machinery to be incorporated according to EC Directive 89/392 EEC Annex IIB.
