This adapter unit was manufactured by IMA Grotefeld and is intended for use on IMA CNC woodworking machines. It is a combined sawing and milling unit that allows both sawing cuts and milling and chamfering operations to be carried out within a single unit.
The locating pin is designed to fit IMA machines and allows direct use on corresponding IMA machining centers. The unit is designed for industrial applications and is particularly suitable for manufacturing processes where multiple machining steps are required without changing the unit.
A mounted saw blade and an HW chamfering cutter are shown in the pictures. The compact design allows for use even in confined spaces in the machine. The robust construction by IMA Grotefeld is designed for continuous use in a production environment.
