Automatic strapping machine from the Swiss manufacturer Strapex for industrial packaging processes. The Strapex SMG 25 A is a powerful automatic strapping machine for the secure and fast strapping of cartons, bundles, wood packages or shipping packaging. The machine is particularly suitable for logistics centers, shipping departments, the furniture industry and production companies.
Thanks to the large strapping arch of 1500 x 500 mm, even wide or elongated products can be strapped without problems.
The polypropylene strapping band is automatically fed, tensioned, thermally sealed, and then cut. Afterwards, the band is automatically prepared for the next cycle.
The Strapex SMG series is one of the most robust industrial strapping machines worldwide and is manufactured entirely in Switzerland.
The patented strapping head has around 30 percent fewer components, which results in particularly high stability and low maintenance costs.
The machine is designed for up to about 60 strappings per minute and is therefore also suitable for packaging lines with high throughput.
Advantages of the large strapping arch 1500 x 500 mm
The large arch offers significant advantages in the packaging process. Wide cartons or large shipping packages can be strapped without lifting or tilting. Long products such as furniture parts, wooden panels, or bundled goods can also be easily guided through the machine. Due to the large passage height, several cartons can be stacked or taller packaging units can be strapped. This increases flexibility in shipping departments and reduces manual labor.
