Product description

This is an original Ferrocontrol smoothing choke, type ZGD 05.0, part number 35-056100. It was developed for industrial NC controls, CNC machines, servo drives and rectifier systems and stabilizes and smooths DC circuits within complex control and drive systems.

Smoothing chokes of this kind reduce current peaks, minimize electromagnetic interference and ensure a clean supply for sensitive electronics – protecting power modules, servo amplifiers, NC controls and CNC components. With 1.1 mH inductance and 10 A rated current it suits a wide range of automation and drive applications.

The ZGD 05.0 was used, among others, in Priess & Horstmann control systems, typically found in NC-controlled drilling, routing and special machines for the wood and furniture industry. A solid iron core, quality copper winding and sturdy mounting frame make it built for continuous industrial duty. Terminals are clearly marked 1.1 and 1.2, plus a separate ground connection.
