The computer comes from an IMA BIMA 810 V machine, but is identical in construction to the system units that were also used in the BIMA 310, 410, 600, and 680 series. It is therefore ideal as a replacement for defective or no longer available original IMA computers.
The PC is housed in a robust 19" industrial rackmount case. On the front, there is a floppy disk drive, an Iomega ZIP drive, and an ATAPI CD-ROM drive. On the front, there are also status indicators (Power Supply, Power, HDD) and control buttons (Power, Reset System, Reset Alarm).
The computer was removed from a running system and functioned reliably until the end. After removal, only an electrical test could be carried out; a complete functional test on the machine was not performed.
